That's only the ones near the border with Russia or Kalingrad(part of Russia).
Poles are West Slavic.

As I said. Czechs and Germans look different. The latter tends to be more butch, while the former tends to look feminine. I am talking of course about females. Both groups act fairly differently from each other.
The Germanization process, thankfully failed. Yes and there has been exchange of language. Each side picked up works from the other.
But the Czech language for the most part is Slavic. Again the difference is the Czechs adopted Latin letters from the Roman Empire while the Russians stayed with Cryllic. Also pronounciations are different.

Also both have different accents. So that poll question is retarded because I have spoken to Czechs and Germans, and they both sound nothing alike when they speak.

I don't agree with the statement that Czech are more sophisticated than the Germans. Agreed, they are friendlier but not more sophisticated. Germans are rather noted for that quality (accuracy, precision, level of sophistication and this can be seen in their political and cultural mindset). I've seen both places and definitely Germans are way more sophisticated than the Czechs....but Czechs on the other hand are very friendly.......

Russian and Czech are both Slavic languages but no way you can say they differ only in pronunciation.
Being a native Czech speaker who has never taken a lesson of Russian, I'm able to understand very little when listening to this language.
As for the sophistication part, this is again a dangerous generalization, but imho neither of typical Germans or Czechs look and behave like your Eton-and-Oxford-bred English gentleman. Germans are much louder though.
Czech politicians are not particularly eager to maintain close relations with Russia - the other way around, many of them (especially on the Right) are foolishly pro-American.

Czechs are Slavs, and they are probably the most Westernized Slavs.

The Czech Republic is a Slavic country. By Slavic and Germanic are you referring to culturally/location-wise or like by language? However, Germans did make up 20% (mostly in Sudentenland where they were a majority) or more of the Czech Republic before World War 2, but most of them were expelled after the war.

How can anyone glorify a former Soviet bloc country? or its people. These people are part of the 2nd world (communist regime). Czech (oslovakia) should feel honored to be bordered with a country as great and powerful as Germany. When I think of Slavs, I think of Yugoslavia, which has virtually no attractive people (shorter, fatter, broad hips), also formerly taken over by a previous axis power Italy.
