Default Price per square meter in London

I was wondering what the price per square meter in London is. I'm speaking more of the greater london area. Right now I have a price of roughly 15 500 euro's which seems pretty high when i'm looking at prices for other cities in europe and the best comparrision in the US (but sadly the US does not do sqaure meters/feet so data is hard to look at). I was wondering if this number is accurate? As it is almost 3 times any other european city.

Per square metre of what? That's approx £12,000. If you mean buying property, it tends to be done per bedroom and location more than square metres, and prices are falling fast. This link will let you search by map. Property search engine for homes for sale & property to rent in the UK - Globrix

Thanks for the response. I'm just trying to look at the US market v. the European market and this number is an outliar. Not buying property just a comparison and I wanted to double check this number. And I realize that I will never get an exact number just looking for a somewhat accurate estimate.

Oh and I was looking more for London not the greater London area (its called greater London correct?).
