Love it. It has some seedy sections and lots of thieves (like every Mediteranean city) but the people and food are fantastic. If you are into rock climbing, there are dozens of incredible sea cliffs and other crags within 20-30 minutes of the city.

Quite rough and working class but with a wonderfull vibe.
Very multicultural city with a lot of northern african, western african, carabean, southern European, asian...

if you 're not afraid of arab and kind of thieves

visit la ciotat antibes baux en provence etc....
