Default Best Place to live in Germany for SQA Engineer

I am living in the u.s. but would like to move to Germany. I don't speak german, and just wondering how fast I can get a job. In general I would like to know where is the best place to live in Germany? I am 33, SQA engineer.

Munich would have the most opportunity for tech jobs and there is a large expat community there. I would recommend you to try Toytowngermany.com which is a very informative site for English speaking expats with a very active forum.

If you are a U.S. citizen, you can't just "move to Germany". It's not that simple. Check immigration laws and how to get a work visa. But as it is almost impossible to get a job in Germany without speaking rather fluent German, your chances are close to zero.

If you are a EU citizen, only living in the U.S., you can live in Germany, but your chances to get a job without speaking the language are still minimal.
