Singapore. LOW taxes, warm, very welcoming towards foreigners and most of all, VERY VERY safe.

Glen76 suggested Honduras. If you want to disagree with him, start your own thread. Just a thought.

Why should I start a thread because I disagree with a poster? My suggestion to you to start a thread about Honduras was based on the fact that you keep posting about it even after I provided factual evidence that it ranks number one in murders, i.e. not a safe place.
I never advised the OP not to go to Honduras - that's pure conjecture on your part. I merely pointed out that it would hardly fall into the category of what is considered a safe country. Here's another link for the OP's perusal regarding safety in Honduras (I am not posting this for your sake, it is abundantly clear that you know everything about Honduras):

Next time make sure you read what I actually wrote before you make baseless accusations in my direction. Thanks in advance.

When you say safe, you mean safe from crimes and forces of nature, right?
If I go to another country, will I be hit by typhoons, tsunamis, earthquakes, floods, fires, diseases, etc.?

But isn't property hideously expensive? And difficult to buy if you're not a citizen?

it depends. what is expensive to you? and what types of properties are you looking at? long-term rent? purchase? but yes, property prices are generally more expensive than elsewhere. its not difficult to buy/rent if youre not a citizen...i know many expats that have bought houses here without any problems. you might want to check that out from something official, but i dont think its much of a problem.
with that said, im sure the pros beats the expensive property prices hands down.
