Mumbai Tragedy. Gunmen Attacking various places.
This just broke to news on the west coast in the US. This is very sad!

Apperently they are still in the streets at this time still shooting. OMG!

This is terrible news for India and tourism - aside from the people who are being killed, naturally. According to the article, the gunmen are targeting 5 star hotels and seeking out US and British nationals.

The Gunmen are using the Mumbai's police vehicles and running around the city shooting people. They have western tourists in the Taj hotel. This is very sad.

Mumbai is deep into India and is the "Gateway" to the country. this terrorist group had to smuggle weapons and the terrorists themselves very, very deep into the country. That is unless they arrived by sea since Mumbai is on the ocean's coast.

india is so overpopulated that all that population density makes for easy targets for these sick sick terroristic "PEOPLE" if you can call them that. my prayers go out to all those effected in this tragedy.

I very much doubt that population density is the cause of terrorism, either in India or anywhere. |

And the teeming masses on the streets weren't the target either - as stated earlier, they hit 5-star hotels in the finance district, and they were singling out Brits and Americans - I read that they also hit a restaurant that was known to attract tourists, and that the gunmen were aiming for people who looked like tourists (I'm guessing that means everyone who didn't look like a native). |
