Might be a little hard for ProLogic to answer your concerns given the Not a Member notation below their login.

I'm not a big fan of Maradona, and I don't think he'll be a good coach for Argentina.
The drug problems, the anti-American sentiment, plus the wasted talent. I'm a big fan of the Argentine national team, and I hope he does well, but I don't have much faith in him.

If you felt insecure in NYC, and you're from Brazil.. I really don't know where you could've possibly went, as NYC is the safest city in the U.S., and comparing it to Brazil in those kinds of terms is ridiculous. Brazil is a much better place for partying, natural sights, and overall fun, no doubt.
As to the people complaining about Argentinians being racist.. Haven't you guys ever heard the term, "Buy an Argentinian for what they're worth, and then sell them for what they think they're worth."??

Argentina is a very well-developed country, not at all like Mexico. Towns look a lot like American towns, with no slums, and they are very clean and well laid-out. Argentines are well educated. A very large number of Argentines, maybe a majolrty, do not have Spanish surnames. Their ancestors came from British Isles, Germany or Italy, at about the same time that people from those countries were immigrating into the United States.
For some reason, they have never succeeded in getting their economy in order, and the suitability of Argentina as a place to live varies widely according to the national economy. At times, costs are very low there in terms of US dollars. But at other times, it is unaffordable.
They are genuinely South American, and still have a very strong sense of their nationality and customs. I saw a modern supermarket in the beautifyl city of Mendoza that was open 22 hours a day. It was open all night, but closed for siesta from 1 to 3 pm.

Of course it does. What my post said was that, compared to most other South American countries, Argentine towns do not leave the impression of widespread and extensive urban poverty. There is no city in the world that has NO slums---not even Geneva. Why would you conclude from what I wrote that I thought there was not a single person in the entire Republic of Argentna who lived in poverty?
Never mind, I don't even know why I bother to respond to a school girl who contributes a 7-word statement, two of which are lol and rofl, with no punctuation at all.

I don't really like their attitude at all. They don't even claim themselves as South American, they like the term European. They feel just because they are white, that they are automatically better than everyone else.
|
Well, it is something Latin American, emphasizing one's "whiteness". lol
In spite of that, I'd love to visit Argentina!!

Maradona was a jackass, but not because of thinking he was white, because he wasn't - he was mestizo. People use to call him by a racial term for mestizos.
