Scientific studies have revealed the L21 single nucleotide polymorphism (SNP) present in R1b (y-chromosome DNA haplogroup) present in the Irish and Scots have no substantial genetic link with the Basques or those or those of the Iberian peninsular,thus placing into question the Milesian invasion theory.

L21 (R1b1b2a1a2f) was discovered in late 2008, is common in the British Isles, and can be found in France, Germany and Scandinavia with considerable frequency. Most samples from Iberia show that the L21 marker is rare there.

L21's presence in Switzerland and Southern Germany also attests to its identity as a Continental Celtic marker, thus linking the Irish & Scots with their Iron Age forebears.

The precise origin of L21 has yet to be determined.

Spain is broke. Net negative migration is a matter of time. The educated people will leave, and all that will remain are, well, the newcomers.
