Most xenophobic: Probably North Korea. Radios and TVs are actually designed to not be able to get foreign stations. The people have been propagandized about the evils of most other ways of life. Positive things are said of other countries in their news, but this largely just occurs when they say something nice about the North Korean system. (Burma's regime has often been xenophobic, but they are a bit more open to the Chinese and Thai. Also the Burmese regime doesn't seem to be as efficient in propagandizing it's people so, from what I gather, the people are actually somewhat open to foreigners when they see them.)
Least xenophobic: As an odd guess "St. Kitts and the Nevis." It's a small Caribbean island so likely gets a fair amount of tourists per-capita. However unlike some touristy islands it's quite well-developed so might not have the bitter element parts of Jamaica or Trinidad I've heard have. Other possibility on that basis is Barbados for the same reasons.
Other possibility for least xenophobic, Sweden. Sweden has a small xenophobic element I think, but I recall them taking in more refugees than most nations of their size. Also National Geographic once indicated the Swedes are the most geographically literate nation.

According to one source, when you factor their views of immigrants and people of other races as neighbors, Australians are the least xenophobic. Considering what I know of Australia's history, and present, I find this very surprising. Other possibilities are Switzerland, Canada, and Ireland as they all came out low on these factors. However this study is over a decade old and was only done in a few nations.
Undesirable Neighbours immigrants (most recent) by country
Undesirable Neighbours different race (most recent) by country

Rue d'Isly and French troops did not have Algerian "tirailleurs". The "pieds-noirs" , led by Salan, were against Algerian liberation, obviously. Many left Algeria, crying because they loved that country and they still do today.
I have never heard of Pieds-noirs massacres! They are of French origin but born in Algeria. Why would the French massacre them????
in 1945, there was the massacre of Setif and Guelma where at least 20000 people were killed because Algerians celebrated the liberation of the south of France but with the Algerian flag. The Algerien tirailleurs (Senegalese and Moroccans as well) are those forgotten soldiers that liberated South of France from the Germans on D day in 1945. Hardly anyone is aware of that but that's ok;there is God and there will be Justice. Only 3 years ago did some of the survivors got a medal of recognition (for the first time) from the French government. After 50 years!!!!!! wow. The truth is that the Americans and the Britts liberated western France, the French liberatd Paris and south of France were North Africans (among which 600000 Algerian troops) and Senegalese.
It is easy to claim unfounded statements. Bring the pictures, the films , the evidence like those that are archived.
You want to talk about massacres? Paris 1961 when Police killed and massacred masses of Algerians simply because they walked down the street of Paris to claim their independence. This is only a drop of water in the ocean.
Personally, I have nothing against French people - they are fun and I can relate to them very easily - but I can tell you this: France started building its economy in 1830 after stealing the wealth of Algiers Regency (purpose of the war)- That wealth amounted to 10 billion dollars - That was a L O T of money in 1830.
When is the French government going to apologize publicly? This is all the Algerian government expects to sign the reconciliation treaty which is still up in the air.

Funny you'd say that... Most of my friends (including me, I'm afraid) can name all the capitals of the world and point them out on a blind map. Just don't ask us where Sundsvall or Örnsköldsvik or Östersund are...
Ok, I feel stupid.

Okay, so "this groups" = "immigrants". Right? Ok, phew, I solved it!
So 7% of the Swedish population thinks immigrants are "undesirable neighbours". Well, that's good, I guess, seeing that 1 in 9 in Sweden are immigrants, meaning 7% of the remaining 8 out of 9 isn't that many.

just curious, why south korea? i've never read about incidents of non-koreans (or for that matter, non-asians) being killed, simply b/c of their looks.
i would put russia, in place of south korea. if you ain't white, you better be careful in certain areas.
