Austria, from top to bottom, is the most beautifull place I have ever seen in my life! Georgous mountains, green valleys, crystal clear Alpine lakes, quaint villages, and the most regal of cities, - Vienna. It was like something out of a stroy book.

Don't tell my (German) wife, but I'd prefer Holland ever so slightly to Germany! The Dutch are really laid back, friendly people. And the country is probably one of the most bicycle-friendly nations on Earth. I've enjoyed all the other countries i've visited but I especially enjoyed Holland.

Well not the prettiest or uglist but my favorate place of all the places i went to when i was in the Navy was St,Croix of the Virgin Islands. When our destroyer (USS Sampson DDG-10) pulled up to the Dock you could see the beams go all the way to the bottom as the water was so clear and turquose blue. The beaches were white sand and pristine with Palm Trees galore. The dance clubs were cool as you danced on the roof as it was so warm and tropical and dancing to all the 80's new wave of Duran Duran, B-52's, Billy Idol etc...

I really loved the tropical fun of the caribbean.

No thinking there, the USA.

Did enjoy the Nordic countries of Europe, especially Norway and their fjords. We went up to the Arctic, to a beautiful small village, Bode, with tulips all around and a huge glacier in the distance. People very friendly and helpful to dumb Americans who could speak only English!

America, no doubt. Nowhere like it, nowhere remotely as fantastic and nowhere I'd rather live.
Like I said before...Germany would be my second choice. I feel at home there too and my German is good

Thats a hard one to answer. I have several favorites. If I had to pick one I guess it would be Spain. I absolutely love Barcelona. Seville's historic area is pretty awesome too. Madrid, Cordoba, & Toledo are nice as well.
Someday I would like to see Tarragona, Costa Brava and the Basque area.

That's really a tough one.
I tend to enjoy the coast, and really really enjoyed southwest France as well as the Greek Islands, the Cinque Terre and Amalfi Coast of Italy, coastal Montenegro, and the Dalmatian coast of Croatia.
OTOH
I also enjoy castles, green rolling hills and lush gardens, so the United Kingdom might as well have been put together just for me. Love Ireland, Wales, Scotland and England. Every place you go there has a vivid, centuries-long history.
Too many choices.
Harry o
My husband is just like you. He'd be happy just going to somewhere in the Caribbean every time.

LOVE THE U.S.A. will become famous soon enoughLOVE THE U.S.A. will become famous soon enough
Default country

favorite country......

THE UNITED STATES OF AMERICA ( of course we know why)
The real reason I pick the U.S.A. is as a younger person I made some
trips from the East To the West coast and on the first trip I realized just how
big this PLACE is. I have since made more trips and I see it as the best.
I was in the military so I did see other places. Of course I did like
and enjoy a few other's . Just *****iced for the U.S.A. I think.

LOVE THE U.S.A.
