What are the Whitest countries on earth?
I mean the countries that are the most European, with the least amount of anything else. Ireland? Sweden? Norway? Finland? Iceland? Ukraine? Thanks.

Good obervation. Argentina is the "whitest" country in the New World and Uruguay is up there with Canada. Chile is pretty "white" and so is the United States. The European countries do not even need to be mentioned, LOL.

If we are talking pure numbers wise and not percentage wise than Brazil has the second largest White population in the New World, second only to the United States.

I was talking percentage-wise, but you are right that number-wise Brazil has a LOT of white residents. Southern Brazil's population is overwhelmingly of non-mixed or relatively non-mixed European origin.

I believe on a percentage basis, Iceland is the answer.
Somebody mentioned Argentina... but if you do a little research you'll find that the black population there "mysteriously disappeared". The usual reason put forth is that they changed their definitions of race to hide the black population numbers.

I think I would put Uruguay over Argentina. Argentina doesn't have a noteworthy black population like Uruguay does, but Uruguay doesn't really have the same sort of native population that Argentina does. Both countries easily have a white majority and strong European based cultures though. Argentina (at least the Rio Plate area) has the Italian/Spanish thing going while Uruguay seems a little more Portuguese/German/Spanish.
I went down to those countries last summer. When I told people I was going there/went there many people said "you should've just went to the Wal-Mart on SE 14th (Wal-Mart with a lot of Mexican shoppers) and saved your money" or something to that extent. For what it's worth I don't think that a lot of people in the US realize that South America does have large white populations.
I also think that some people are inclined to believe that if they speak Spanish they must not be white... What continent is Spain in, again?
I believe the Baltic countries would be pretty much all white with very little immigration. Even Iceland has immigration from nonwhite countries.
