First choice would be the obvious English speaking countries (Canada, UK), but I leave out Australia and NZ because they sound like there are lots of large insects. I am afraid of flying stinging insects in particular and allergic to bees. I would not want to live anywhere with so-called killer bees. I would much rather learn another language than live with big venomous bugs, so Scandinavia also sounds like a good fit. Poland actually looks very nice and so does Croatia (I have distant relatives still there). So, I would go to Lowes or Home Depot and buy a bunch of screening material for my windows then I'd be ready to move! By the way, I am aware that I currently live somewhere with lots of horrible bugs and I have some regrets. I stay indoors a lot during the long hot Summer here.
Not only that but the fact that they are so far away.
Isn't English spoken in much of Northern Europe enough that the adjustment won't be too hard? South Africa sounds unpleasant, and maybe Botswana as well. And why not Australia or New Zealand?
No. Their native language isn't mines..
I just leave Europe for holidays and anglo areas for immigration.
I like North America and the culture here. 1 choice for that reason is Canada, not too much different and still in North America. Second choice would be the UK, the mother country would make a fine place to be as well. I have no desire to live in a truly foreign country. Canada and the UK may be different nations but they are not "foreign" to us. Same could be said for Australia.
Thats what I said about America and they just ridiculed me.
I haven't said anything ignorant about the USA actually, Australia yes I'd admit it but not the USA. Sorry but Australia gives of a vibe of being a sexist and racist society. Of course I've never been to Australia but I can only listen to your claims which are more valid than mine.
"It sounds like you just don't want to confront your own prejudices...."
Don't worry, I wouldn't want to live in Pomgolia with you in it either.
