Question What's the best European country to move to?

I'm so tired of the garbage going on in North America. Out-of-control illegal alien take over, welfare to people who don't work, no morals, no one on the same page, etc. The U.S. is almost gone, and it's more a feeling than anything else. I was just wondering what's the best European country to live in, preferably English-speaking? The U.K.? Northern Ireland? Thanks.

Hate to break it to you, but most if not all the problems you described with the U.S. are happening in Europe as well.

The only English speaking European countries are the UK, and the Republic of Ireland, though whether you'd find them an improvement is debatable.

I love the UK- but all the things I love about it are reasons that would make you hate it, including the diversity and great culture that immigration has brought.

Judging from all of your previous posts, I can tell you that you would probably not be very welcome or very happy in Europe either. FYI, The second most common language spoken in Northern Ireland is actually Chinese..I guess that rules out that country. Perhaps you'd be better off just accepting that the world is made up of human beings from all parts of the globe and try not to obsess about other people's race/language/culture/religion hindering your own pursuits. When you change your thinking you might find a place that you actually like.

I'd say go for Switzerland - nice ppe, high quality of life, fascinating nature! And most people actually speak very good English (unlike most other countries in Europe).

Try Iceland, there's not a rush to immigrate there.

You can't just 'move to' another country. Your visa will be a tourist visa and that's not valid for living in another country. Please do some research.

How do you know that it will be a tourist visa? I seem to have have missed the part of the thread where the original posted mentioned anything about applying for a tourist visa.

Even if it is a tourist visa, U.S. citizens can apply for residency while on a tourist visa in some places like the Netherlands.

Mostly because unless you meet specific (and tough) requirements, you won't be given anything BUT a tourist visa.
