one thing that i wanna mention is that Hongkong is not a country anymore and i think everybody should know that well already. i dont know who did this ranking but apparently it is wrong to put hongkong as a country.

Something weird about this article.
It says "China,India and United Arab Emirates scored low overall because cultural differences from the West made integration difficult." and then it puts India in #5 ahead of US?

I only agree with India if you are a white tourist. Same with China, Singapore, and UAE.

YOU WILL NOTE from the above doubts as to how the best 10 were arrived at. The best 10 for beaches, would vary from the best 10 for food. The best 10 for "street wise" hospitality from the best 10 for "hotels hospitality".
Though not a travelled person, I read the "letters to the editor" column in 2 different English newspapers that I subscribe. MALAYSIA is a favoured nation, by tourists upon returning home, write and compliment the weather (nature's blessing), the beaches and the reefs, the politeness and out of the way to help smiling people they bump
into for assistance on the streets.(by the way, we also have idiots who screw up the image......but are seriously reprimanded.). Maybe, an organised evaluation programme, would put Malaysia within top 10. +

Turkey is the most friendly country I have ever been to.
Never anywhere else have I had strangers smiling at me and saying "hello" or "how are you?"
The hospitality is so warm there.

I just left the UAE after 6 years...I;m now in Muscat, Oman just next door. I think someone was confused when they saw all the people in the UAE hold their hands out. They didn't want to shake hands.....they wanted your money. UAE people friendly.no way....Emiratiis .....no way.
