Show me where I introduced "new" definition?
racism definition | Dictionary.com
That definition isn't new, its from the same source you got yours from, you just neglected to post it.
Very good your point still stands and that was never my main point that I was arguing against.
Ah the definition says descrimination prejudice based on race, it doesn't say different race. Why do black cops in the US more likely to arrest black people then white people? Why? Because of prejudice, as a result it is racism against its own race. That is just me humoring you since you seem to be going off topic about brazilian japanese and chinese, koreans.
I could careless about all the national minorities or the biggest foreign groups in japan. Lets go on to your UN person and what he had to say:
"Japan, both through the national inheritance of its society and its relations with neighboring countries, as well as the insularity of its peoples, is still marked by real racism and xenophobia,” he noted in his presentation before the General Assembly’s committee that addresses human rights issues."
A Glimpse of the World: Japan needs to combat racism, xenophobia, U.N. says
Apparently to him it is more then just xenophobia.
My main point still stands and one that you continue to not address and that is shops that ban foreigners are using race as a way to descriminate against people and that is indeed racism and also xenophobic but that it is more so racism then xenophobia. You seem be not willing to acknowledge that it is indeed racism. You keep going off topic about how japanese brazilians are discriminated against and how national mintorities and blah blah chinese and koreans blah blah blah, I really could careless, it has nothing really to do with my main point and that is those policies those businesses have are more racist then xenophobic but they are both at the same time.
Dude I never said all japanese are racist or that the majority of them are racist. I'm just pointing out that when it comes to shops banning foreigners its more racist then it is xenophobia and that it is also a combination of racism and xenophobia. A lot of xenophobia is based upon prejudice, a lot of racism is also based on that. Your argument was that shops that ban foreigners are not racist and that xenophobia is not racism whatsoever and that they can't be linked. All I'm doing is proving that it is considering you know as well as I do that if an foreign asian walks into one of those shops without saying a word they will not be thrown out but if a white guy or black guy does they will be. Xenophobia can be racism, it isn't all the time but it can be.
