Default Match an Asian city with a European city

I'll start it off:

Tokyo and London (largest cities in the world, financial centers, capitals of island nations)

Beijing and Paris (capitals of nations known for pride in their language and cuisines). Tokyo can also be a match with Paris for fashion.

Seoul and Berlin (big cities in valleys surrounded by mountains)

Bangkok and Venice (canals)

Singapore and Luxembourg (city-states)

Kathmandu and Zurich (largest cities in counties with beautiful mountains, Nepal Himalayas and Swiss Alps)

That's all I can think of for now.

Beirut, Lebanon - Marseille, France (Beirut has some French influence. Both cities have similar climates and are port cities. Beirut is called the Paris of the East.)
