I have great news!
Now we have decided to do both Berlin and Stockholm in one trip! We are going to spend May 16th through the May 20th in Berlin and then hop a flight to Stockholm (Bought a ticket one-way for $66) and stay in Stockholm from May 20th - 26th! So now we are doing two cities in one trip for the same price of the original ticket .
So next trip we'll do London and Amsterdam the same way to knock those out of the way.
I cannot wait to arrive in both Berlin and Stockholm this is shaping out to be a wonderful start to the summer! We would like to attend Football games in both cities so If you know any games to check out at that time please keep me posted . Thanks ladies and gents!

You miss one of the Stockholm derbies with two days. During your stay in Stockholm there is only big clubs playing smaller clubs but this should be the best game:

That's a great thing to do!
I just checked my calendar, and I'll be in Stockholm during the same time as you, so let's both hope for some great weather (I mean sunshine and warmth, not just abscense of rain). Can't give you any tips on soccer, but if you're into Japanese music and culture, there's supposedly a band or something visiting/playing and some events going on on the 22d to the 24th? (Hence the reason for my visit. Don't know much about what's going on, nor am I really interested in it, but my friends are going and I'm the only one with a car, so...)
If you want, as a former Stockholmare, I could show you some places around the city?
There seems to be a riot after almost every football game in Stockholm nowadays, but Elfsborg should be safe,I guess.
No riots in Stockholm yet this season but the last few days in Gothenburg have been crazy with riots both saturday and today. But you shouldn´t be afraid of going to a game, stay low and let the cops do their job. Just enjoy the game and the atmosphere:
I prefer hockey.
They keep the brawling on the ice.
So both riots has been in GBG?
I have just seen the headlines.
I prefer to let the TV rest when there's sports on
(Btw, did you/anyone see the second last game between HV71 - should have won! Grrr! - and Färjestad? If you did and saw a girl crying - you got to see her appr.4 times, and she had black hair - then you've seen my neighbour. Poetic justice. Cool, huh?)
It's fun to learn about one's own country on CD. I didn't know people fought after the games
Atlantasfinest, have you made any plans for what you're going to do while in Stockholm? Other than going to a soccer game?

Swede that would be great if you could show us around a bit. If there are any Hockey games going on we would like to check those at as well or any active sports we could check out during the day.
During the day I was thinking we could check out a museum or interesting site in or near the city and a sporting event during the afternoon/evening, people watch at cafes in the afternoon and evening and at night we want to PAARRRRTTYYY! That's how we generally want to spend our weekend.
Any must sees in Stockholm that we shouldn't miss out on?
