Default Coolest, least humid city in Japan?

Anyone know what city in Japan is the coolest during the summer?

with the least amount of humidity?

Chitose and Sapporo are both very cool and not humid during the summer, as is pretty much anywhere in Hokkaido. Everywhere else on all the other islands of Japan will be very hot and humid during the summer months, especially at the end of the rainy season.

Agree with the above. Pretty much anywhere in Hokkaido would be the least humid.

i was thinking about visiting Hokkaido the last time i was in japan, but ended
up spending most of my time in kyoto, and the surrounding towns...

i heard sapporo is freezing during the winter, and doesn't have a JR line, or
train line at all...

TRUE?

can ANYONE tell me about how the weather year round is in Sapporo?
