But seriously, you can get very good pizza in many places. A couple of my favourites are in Geneva, Switzerland. Try Trattoria in Rue de la Servette or Da Paolo in Rue du Lac.
Pfff! What a silly question as usual! Best pizza for whom? Pizza has been abducted from its country of origin and turned into whatever people want all over the world. American pizza is heavy on meat and dairy products (cheese). Not everybody prefers that. I like garlic, onion and chilis -- Which country makes the best pizza for me? Perhaps the Dominican Republic, perhaps Thailand...
You people are delusional. The best pizza can be found in NYC, or New Jersey. Should be large, bendable slices with the bubbles in the crust and crisp (not crunchy) on the bottom, must use a seasoned sauce with real tomatoes and REAL mozzarella.
Da Vinci's here at the Jersey shore (middletown) is the best outside of North Jersey but that maybe because Tony (the owner) is Brooklyn born and bred. In the City, Ray's is good (not famous rays!!) and can be found around Manhattan.
The best pizzas in the world are made in family owned bakeries throughout Italy. However, good pizza can be found in any area with a high Italian immigrant population.
I live in America, for my country it's New York City, New Jersey or Chicago.
I'm still mourning REAL pizza after having been here for more than a decade.
