Slovenia (just a peaceful beautiful country with lots of nature views), Croatia (Split & Dubrovnik) and Turkey (Turkish Riviera and of course the many historical sites)

Plan your trip so you end up leaving from Munich.

Definitively OK.
You can still catch beautiful warm days, but Mother Nature is so unpredictable, who knows ....

Since you are covering northern Italy and Switzerland, how about squeezing a few days at Cinqueterra.
I tend to combine German cities with my visits to previous Eastern bloc (Hungary, Poland, Chec Rep, Slovenia, Croatia, Montenegro ...).
And Scandinavian cities with Latvia, Estonia and Belarusia.
Or Scandinavia cities with St Petersburg and Moscow.

Scandinavia is SWEDEN, NORWAY & DENMARK.... not Latvia, Estonia, and Belarusia.

France, Germany, England and Italy. Eastern European countries like The Czech Republic and Russia.
Scandinavia: The Norwegian Fjords and Lofoten are pretty special during the summer months.
Dougie86, shame on you

Of course I know that. I should have clarified that I did not want to mix up my history and geography.

c) Norway, Sweden, Copenhagen, Finland, + St Petersburg and Moscow
d) Germany + Switzerland
e) England + Scotland

London then to Paris then to Milan where you can side trip off to Florence/Rome then go to Venice to Vienna to Munich and leave from Zurich. Or vice versa on the last two - you might also be able to work in Prague from there..
Scandinavia is nice but too far out of the way for this ... as mentioned, Amalfi is a-mazing if you had the time (don't forget Pompeii and Capri)..
So wonderful just to have a train pass and stand at the station just trying to decide where to go!

I think you mean brunost. Rarely eat it myself. Too unhealthy in the long run...

last summer my family went to munich, salzburg and croatia. It was a great trip, and a bit more off the beaten pass then london/paris. I also loved it cause you get to see such varied landscapes. Munich is flat with mtns in the distance then you drive through them on the way to salzburg. But on the way to croatia is the most beautiful...but there was a ton of traffic cause so many europeans go there. croatia has plitvice lakes and the beautiful coast.
