Starting out in life... where should I go?
22 year old Canadian citizen here, finally finished university as a Network Administrator. I feel like trying out other countries for work as I'm not fond of the weather here. Looking for somewhere warm year round near the ocean, with jobs for skilled IT professionals. Somewhere I can obtain a work visa fairly easily is a major plus.

The only places for which work visas can be easily obtained are places no-one in their right mind would want to go to - like Iraq or some other war zone. The more desirable the country the stiffer the competition for visas. Switzerland is said to be the hardest place to get into. A BS degree is probably not going to be enough to go somewhere pleasant - you will likely need a Masters as well or a few years experience in the industry or even both. One option you might explore is further study in the country of your choice which will give you a taste of the place before considering a more permanent move.

Try the Gulf States---UAE, or Oman. UAE is well established, and Oman is on the brink of booming. They get most of their skilled manpower from India, so you'll be competing with Indians. But the pay is excellent. English-only is no handicap.

Starting out in life... where should I go?
As far as life will take you, the only limit is one you impose on yourself.
