Why Aren't American Beers easily available worldwide?
Why Aren't American Beers easily available worldwide?
The major brewers, Budweiser, Miller, Coors claim to be the best beers. Of course, that's just marketing. But I doubt that getting an American beer outside the US would be easy. In which countries can one find American beers? Are Americans the only ones who drink American beer?

Sadly, all three can be found easily in any high street in the UK. What we could really do with are some of your craft beers but outside of Sierra Nevada pale ale I can't think that I've seen any

Budweiser is owned by a German company now, they got bought out. Don't know if that makes it German or American.

Which isn't exactly fair, as there are plenty of good beers made in the US. But they wouldn't know unless they get their butts over here and taste it without prejudice.

Funny quote. Of the good beers brewed in the US I think most don't have the capacity to go for a world market. Plus, the bad reputation that American beers have would be difficult to overcome.

I'm not sure of the bad reputation by the beer companies but I would guess most Germans would think that budweiser, Miller or Coors beer sucks. They typically drink full bodied beer not lite watered down 100 calorie beer that doesn't have alot of taste. Wonder if there is an issue with recycling also?
