Cultural Differences!
Is there less need for therapy/med's for depression in countries..
Like Italy,Spain?
Cultures that are more extroverted tend to be happy overall?
It seems like cultures who tend to hold stuff in tend to have more..
Issue's with drinking.Weather is probably a big factor in diff countries..
As far as Moods.
Any thoughts?

these facts can hardly be disputed. what makes everything else disputable, however (and imho), is DEPRESSION as a homicide factor .... with just a few more deviations, let's call them organized crime, if names must be called...

Violent crime has been known to increase during heat waves and tends to be more prevalent in hot climates.
This, of course has nothing to do with culture just as depression brought on by low light levels is not due to culture. Depression (and suicide resulting from it) is the result of a chemical imbalance which is not cultural, but rather due to genetic and environmental factors.
I believe the relative 'happiness' of a group, such as a nation, has little to do with introversion/extroversion or rates of suicide and depression.

Extroversion vs. introversion is only a very small part of the equation if at all. Culture and rearing have a lot to do with it.
One may point to Spain, Italy, and parts of S. America as places where extroversion leads to less homicide & violent crime, but then one can point out Canada or Japan where most people are introverted, yet the countries also have very little crime.
It is more about learning of a respect, a true and caring, respect for your neighbors, and truly taking to heart "Do unto others what you would see them do to you." Or basically, just be cool to one another.

i like what i am reading here, yet - much as it may sound far-fetched and exotic - would also like to see good old caretaking linked up with all available interdisciplinary research data.
e.g.
Neuroticism, Extraversion, and Mortality in the UK Health and Lifestyle Survey: A 21-Year Prospective Cohort Study -- Shipley et al. 69 (9): 923 -- Psychosomatic Medicine
