^^^ or if he fails ( like about 95% of people who move to Hollywood ), there is a good chance he can end up homeless, and living on Skid Row.
Seriously, in these tough economic times, poor job market, and increase global competition, the best thing you can do is finish your education.

Did you not read the subsequent post? 95% (as in, 95 people out of 100) fail to enter the showbiz.
People get old, kid, and today's celebrities are tomorrow's has-beens. Hollywood is fickle adn the people there are fake. Do you really want to associate with that crowd?

Well, that'll give you at least one occupation to fall back on. However, while potentially lucrative, it might not offer much upward mobility. Suggestions: be flexible and adventuresome, and please always insist upon protection.

Kentucky is a great place for anyone who doesn't have a high school education and has problems with english. You don't need no book lernin' anyway in Kentucky.

Did anyone read my entire post? I never said move to LA and you WILL be a movie star. I said showbiz is a business where it is POSSIBLE to succeed without a degree. Also I was referring to the jobs besides actor, writer, director, producer, etc. It is pretty hard to be the next Alfred Hitchcock but it is not terribly hard to find a union job behind the scenes where you make at least 30+ an hour. Again I am not saying the OP should do this. I am just saying that there are possibilities to live a decent life without a degree. Also only 20% of new college grads are finding work right now. Considering that the "5%" success rate in Hollywood is not that bad. Most of the 95% that don't make it in Hollywood are not just shut out but rather naive about what it takes to make it. They literally choose to give up and pursue something else. Again if you read my post I made clear that it is not easy.
The OP asked where there is an opportunity to succeed without a degree. I assume he has already heard "get an education" many times (i am not saying he should not). LA/Hollywood is a place where this is POSSIBLE.

It doesn't matter how smart or good-looking you are. You're no more special than the next guy. Your most obvious trait appears to be laziness.
Get an education. Get a job. Contribute to society, start growing up and stop whining.
