What is a African American friendly country?
I know racism is everywhere.. but they vary in many degrees or just not be racism as all. What are some good countries that are not strict/racist towards blacks or foreigners in general?
From what I read "foreigners" are usually treated with caution and black people are usually treated with "discrimination" in the same event. Usually because they have not seen a black person before, or the ones that they have seen just cause trouble. Like Japan I hear does not care for foreigners (outside of tourism) but I hear places like Germany are not as bad.
I am just looking for a country that will allow me to have as much as a good time as possible without hitting many barriers. I am a free spirited person and to me it does not seem fair if I as a foreigner, took the years to learn about a place and still can't go here or do that.
I am looking for a country to study for my class and I am told I would have to also live there for a while. I am worried about the reception because I am black, but otherwise I think I will be fine because I am professional & respectful. Do any fellow Americans know of good countries, or places within good countries where we are welcomed?

What qualifies as a good time? This may be just as big of an importance in the culture you are looking for.

Try Brazil. Here we have not race, color, religion, etc... problem.
Everybody is welcome.
Salvador, the capital of state of Bahia, is the most black city outside Africa.

The more you worry about what others think of you, the more "bigotry" you'll encounter. Also, there's a tendancy for when Americans (of any color) say "Have a good time", it means score foriegn tail. Keep in mind that may not put you in the best of lights in the eyes of the locals if that's all your looking for.
I would suggest Canada and/or Brazil. Australia, England, Parts of Africa and even maybe the Middle East might be a good fit as well.

Someone once told me "where is no poverty, there is no racism nor discrimination". And it can be "silent".
Learn to recognize it and know when to walk away from situations and those exuding bitterness and jealousies.
Most of the incidents occurred closer at home rather than abroad.
Before traveling to any countries, find out the cultural and social rules and acceptable behavior. For examples:
- in Italy, when entering churches,
men takes off their hats and
ladies wear blouses with sleeves and no miniskirts, head scarves recommended
- In muslim countries
when visiting mosques,
ladies - no sleeveless dresses, no miniskirts, use head scarves
Europe, Asia, South-east Asia, and the many resort islands (Maldives, Tahitii, Phuket, Bali included) all love tourist money.
Just remember that you are on a vacation, not on an ADVENTURE seeking mission. Avoid pirate taxis and use only officially registered taxi service.
Just as the locals are suspicious of foreigners, you should be suspicious when strangers approach you offering unsolicited cheap deals.
Stay safe.

I believe Barbados is the most developed black nation. Canada is fairly okay on race so far as I know. I hear they have some problem with Jamaicans, but I think American black immigration is fine.
In Europe, from what I can tell, culture matters more than race. If you're educated, not Muslim, and willing to adapt most Western European nations are fairly okay I think. Although an educated Evangelical Christian might find it difficult regardless of race. Still even Europe has those.

African American friendly country? Maybe try the continent of Africa? South Africa probably has some good universities along with more progressive countries, such as Botswana.
A university in this country (Malaysia) has started a branch campus in Botswana. Botswana is one of the better governed countries in Africa, so that might not be a bad place to study. The name of the university is Limkokwing University Botswana.
Would an African American living in Africa be an African American African?
