I'd in general, for the average spainard lives better than the average mexican, but a upper class mexican or an american in mexico will live better than upper class spanard or a an american in spain. Mexico has more super rich people but also more poor people, spain has mostly average income people and elss income disparities.
France has a lot of run down ghettos that don't exist in montreal. the whole city of marseille looks like montreal with a garbage strike year round.

yes fair comparison : France VS Montreal There is few ghettos in France especially when you compare the french poor district to their american and english counterpart...

Yes I been to Cannes and been to paris and thought that I was going to get mugged because instead of a ghetto neighbourhood like in Quebec, they just have a whole part of the city away from the tourist which is run by drug lords and king pins. I don't go to tourist areas, i go to the real deal city, and can say that even marseille is nicer than paris aside from its dingy look, at least its sunny and more modern looking

Paris it's more than 10 millions of people, what did you believe ? It's like NYC, London or LA. Drugs are everywhere, even in France. The same goes for Marseille. Never heard of problems of drugs in Montreal ? frankly who are you kidding you, there is ghettos in Montreal excepted you can see a big difference between the richest districts and the poorest, all the city is bland and grey as canada (excepted Vancouver and Quebec city).

First I don't know if you talk about Paris or Cannes here. If it's cannes there is just one part of the city you need to avoid and it is not a very large area. As for Paris next time avoid the north east of the capital. Easy to do.

tourist area in Paris it's 3 or 4 arrondissement, there's life in the inner city too. Now if you prefer to have a walk in the bronx when you go to NYC or in Islingthon or Brixton when you go to London don't be surprised if you have some problems....

Hvaing been to NYC I can tell you that its no comparison. Paris is a far more dangerous run down ghetto than NYC. Not to mention that there are entire ghetto cities inside paris, like new york has the bronx not all the bronx is run down, paris' banlieus are ghetto throughout. Who wants to live in a city where an apartment cost more than house in most normal places. I'd rather live in a new york town house or london, than a paris apartment.

Cannes is nicer than paris, it actually has a beach and character and is not full of a bunch of ruude pricks. Cannes doesn't have much ghettos, but like most of france looks like moving into the past. If you want to go back to 1987 then go to france.

See New York has nice areas that are not main tourist attractions, not true in France

Rich = Nice???

People in poor parts of Mexico are much more likely to be nice, honest, hospitable, friendly, than people in rich parts of either Mexico or Spain.

Where did you get your data? The per capita GDP in Spain is four times what it is in Mexico.

you can't really compare Quebec & France, & Mexico & Spain b/c Quebec is a city and Mexico is a country. Only a small part of Canada speaks french anyway. It's like comparing apples and oranges. and no, I don't think it's an accurate comparison.

no quebec is not just a city, it's also the name of a Canadian's province. There is currently about 8 millions of people who are living in quebec (1/5 of Canada). The main cities are Montreal, Quebec city, Sherbrook, Laval.
94 % of the Quebec are french speakers.

Why is it that so many United Statsians don't have a clue about a province that is right over our northern border. There is Québec City... which is in the province of Québec.

Québec is close to 600,000 square miles. It's over double the size of Texas. When was the last time you saw a city that was double the size of Texas?

Québec is largely Francophone: there are about 5,800,000 French speakers there. That's way more than just a 'small part of Canada.' Many of these French speakers do not speak English at all (only about 41% report being able to speak English).

Québec
