Dubai has a wide reputation for abusing foreign workers. And under no circumstances EVER should you be required to hand over your passport to an employer.
This is required reading for you, I hope it influences your decision:

I'm an European girl. What I found out is that when you go there your employer take your passport, so you can't leave or change your job.

Thank you in advance!

ohh my god... stay in Europe.
Dubai has been criticized for perpetuating a class-based society, where migrant workers are in the lower classes.
Millions of people around the world would love to live and work in Europe. You are European... if you dont like your country just try a different one inside the union.
Ireland looks good.

You'll end up like the girl on Taken!!
Sitting in a basement looking stupid being whipped with chains for refusal to mop the floor with your tongue!!
Anywhere that takes your passport is basically a prison , or some kind of sick sex/pornography ring.
I'm telling you for your own sake , don't do it!!

500 euros? Not worth it! Don't go!! You will have nothing to do in your free time - maybe just go to a mall or something.

There was tons to do in Dubai! Tons of theatres, cinema, sporting events, and arcades.
500 was always a bad deal though, and it looked like somebody was trying to exploit this young girl
