Do German women usually go braless?
That's the impression I got this past summer, it seemed like most of them didn't wear a bra, especially the younger (20-30's) ones. Is this true?

They used to, though, in the 70's and 80's (and wore long, flowing hair,and didn't shave, yummy!).
The only women thus that you will find not wearing bras now in Deutschland are from that generation, they are in their late 50's now (sigh)...I'm so sorry as the OP about this "state of affairs"...

I am not talking about "old" women, but young ones, 20-30's, and I got the impression they weren't wearing a bra in the majority of cases.

This sounds like the start of a bad joke: good news/bad news.
Good news: German women are going bra-less.
Bad news: They are all in their 50's!!
