After the Berlin Wall fell, hundreds of thousands of people fled the former communist east for a better life in the west and a overwhelming number of them were young women.

The result, 20 years on, is one of the worst demographic imbalances in the whole of Europe which threatens the future of entire German regions, especially in the northeast.

Where have east Germany's women gone?

There are too many people worldwide anyway (we'll soon reach the 7 billion mark) , and Germany 's density is high (247 inhabitants per sqKm), so less women in East Germany means less baby and more nature, in my book it's good news.
And you shouldn't be afraid of Neo-Nazi : they can't bear chidren!
