Decent liberal arts universities in Europe.
Hey,
I'm looking for a decent liberal arts university somewhere in Europe. My average grade right now is 6 (2.4 GPA), so Cambridge is out of the question. Ha ha! :P The only way I can really shine is to write an amazing essay.
So.. Could you please point me to some schools?
Best regards,
Jake

To be honest, I'm interested in marketing (advertising); the only reason why I *want* to study liberal arts is because most universities (at least the ones I was looking at) require a really good math grade for business related majors. Or do I still have a chance to major in marketing?
Any advice is appreciated!
Best regards,
Jake

Hey again,
I just found out about this thing called "foundation year" - is it kind of like the "community college -> university" route in the US?
Best regards,
Jake

It depends wholly on where you found it to exist. I have never heard of it (expect for what could be translated as "basic technical year" - for those who didn't study the natural science program in "high school") so I can't offer any help on that.
I'm not even sure what liberal arts truly means (I've googled it before, but I still don't really understand it). It may also be the case that that sort of education (degree?) isn't in the same form outside of the US. (Though England and the US does seem to be rather alike in matters like this.)
Hope someone else can give you better answers...
