Why anyone would think their OPINION is better than anyone else's is just an amusement for me... I have been to some of those places... I am sorry but they SUCK... I think its just to make people think some other country is "better"... and just because your country isn't number one according to someone, it doesn't mean there is anything wrong with your country... it just means one less idiot to be in your country... who cares what their criteria is.. its THEIR criteria... I don't value having community swimming pools as being important...

I've been to 30 of them, and the only one I would say sucks of those 30 is Lyon, France. The rest are all wonderful cities and places that I would consider to be some of the world's best.

Which places have you been on this list that you think "SUCK"?

?????? who came up with this? Why no link?

and LMAO at chicago, san fran, and new york , being good places to live......

Yea, if you like crime, over taxation, and regulation over your personal habits. Good for nanny state lovers, and people who can't think or do for themselves, but that's about it.

Okay, so now that we can say that we have no idea what the criteria used was. I can post my own list.

1. My city (because I live in it of course )
2. Orlando (the weather is great)
3. Detroit (love that Beirut look they got going on)

Or you could check out the Freedom Index at Index of Economic Freedom: Link Between Economic Opportunity and Prosperity | The Heritage Foundation which at least has links to the criteria used.

Depends on what you like. I live in NYC. there is a lot I love about it.... and some things that make me want to move to a rural farm. It is all relative to what different people like.

Disagree as far as the crime in NYC as well. It is very safe. (Hopefully stays that way.... falling economy could change this).
