Having been in some of the countries and judging what I know about the others I didn't pick any. Outside of the U.S. I would live in Panama, Spain, Australia or New Zealand.

Romania is the EU member country, plus is a booming economy. So, why not (it wasnt me who voted for RO)
Or you're just mad cause the independent Scotland is not on the list

of the countries on this list, i have travelled to italy, japan, indonesia, china, kenya, egypt, morocco, israel, india, saudi arabia and pakistan... my choices of places to live outside the u.s. are not listed: ireland, costa rica, thailand, phillipines, new zealand, australia... however, i did pick six just for the sake of completing the poll...

Assuming that I was wealthy and didn't have to work in any of them, I would choose the following:
Japan, Korea, Australia, Hong Kong, Denmark, Norway, Sweden, Finland, Germany, England, Holland and Taiwan.

When I was small boy I thought that it is ideal to live in Canada )), with the same climate as in Russia, snowy winters, and in the same time with perspectives and comfort in life ). But now, I see that it is more attractive to live in some asia countries.
