I'd like to stay in an english-speaking country except for Australia, because of the dangerous animals

I'd love to live in Ireland - it is the most beautyful country besides norway I've ever seen. A great climate and so friendly and good looking guys - wow!!! And I enjoy listening to gaelic, I can not speak a word, but I'd love to learn it...

Ireland -great country, great people and great beer.

I experienced that every ordinary or average looking Irish or Scottish guy is still looking better than a British.
I've been to Britain so many times and each time I was out and a guy came towards me inviting for a drink, I could tell before he was speaking a single word whether he was British or not just by the look - and sorry to say, but the British are not the best looking guys, because every time it was a good looking one, he was either Irish or Scottish So I decided long ago to spend my holidays in Ireland instead.

USA would be my first choice

After that, I'd go with Argentina, Denmark, Austraila, Switzerland, and Belize.

One consideration was not specified, and would make an enormous difference in anybody's choice. Which of the following did you mean?

1. Which country would you accept an overseas posting in and live there for a few years with the intent to return to your own country. . .
2. Which country would you live in for the rest of your life, but as an American with a residence visa . . .
3. Which country would you accept citizenship and permanant residence in.

I would live in Turkey, Germany, Malta, Greece, Italy, Spain, Maldives and United States (California, Florida)... That would be 8 countries. Exept Germany it's warm in all of them.
