Yep, born on the Vaal River, educated in CT, and then went up Zim way in 1973. Left Zim in 78, traveled the world (first time) and settled in JNB, worked for Anglo.
Left ZA in 84, home base now Missouri, USA.
Currently in South America on contract.
One of my three daughters is a South African living in MO, and her brother -in-law is also a South African living in Kansas City.
Have other ZA friends in MO as well.

Tourism industry? Interesting. Will keep that in mind for my next trip "home" to the dark continent.
