Sophie, most atittudes to homosexuality in Latin America are unlike Argentina. Argentina is not all of Latin America, it is one country out of many. Gay marriage in Argentina was legalized by, what a surprise, a couple of judges, not the people, not the Congress
I dont care if it was legalized by a couple of judges, i KNOW that this country is not homophobic and, specially the city i live in, its not. Its normalized, thats what im saying. And i could bet my house that the most homophobic city or town in argentina is waaaay less homophobic than the most homophobic city or town in USA.
Indonesia now has a legal classification for people of ambiguous gender. It was done to protect people seeking to live as a different gender, who can be legally recognized, and don't have to restrict their employment to an underworld where they can be so easily victimized.

Doesn't the whole population consist of celibate priests and nuns?

Gay marriage shouldn't be affected by the majority heterosexual population since it has nothing to do with them anyway.
Actually it measures the legal situation for LGBT people in Europe. I'm very curious to know how they got to this index because it doesn't make any sense to me. The UK scores a 12.5 and the Netherlands scores a 10, even though the Netherlands was the first country in the world to legalise gay marriage (unlike the UK, where gay marriage is still illegal) and was one of the first countries (if not the first) to allow gay couples to adopt children. You can't tell me the Netherlands is just above average when it comes to LGBT rights, that is ridiculous.
Much of the US actually seems pretty tolerant of openly gay people. Then again, I have only lived in South Florida and the northeast. I'm sure it'd be different in the south.
Morally, she should meet with neither. Although i guess there is some democratic rationale to meet with the BNP.
Either way, the Queen is a shameful reptillian coffin dodging disgrace.
Preaching to the choir here. Fellow republican....F the monarchy and let's hope for at least an English republic and the return of the Cromwellian flag!!
