But it doesn't have volcanos.
In my opinion the most complete country in terms of natural beauty is the us. Pacific, Atlantic and the golf of Mexico, so a wild variety of coastline beauty. Desserts, canyons, volcanos, mountains, geysers, petrified forest, giant forest(sequoias)...
The only country that i have been that rivals it is Argentina.
Volcanoes, eh? I have to agree with you. Yellowstone really is one of a kind.
I was in Kyrgyzstan this year, and I'd put that at number one. From virtually any vantage point in the country, you can see at least one of several permanent show-capped mountain ranges on the horizon, and summer snow is only about 20 miles away from downtown Bishkek, the capital. Much of the rest of the landscape is an attractive central Asian plain, with vistas and vegetation that really does look different from any other place on earth. Plus a huge salt lake surrounded by mountain vista. Cities and towns with beautiful wide tree-lined avenues and old czarist-era architecture. No matter where you've ever traveled before, Kyrgyzstan will seem like something special.
