Eh, Jesus didnt influence many at all! He certainly doesnt influence anymore! Not for 2000 years has he influenced! I would look away from politicians and look toward spiritual leaders, philosophers and poets, and to those in our personal lives who have helped us hone our intellectual and spiritual skills to interpret them in accordance with one's own circumstances.

Also I noticed that no or little mention is made of inventors. What about the guy or gal who first got a handle on how to use fire? What about the guy or gal who invented field crops?

What about the guy or gal who invented the aqueduct?

In modern times, what about the guy who invented the internal combustion engine or guys like Bill Gates, without whom we would not be here communicating on this forum?
