Like him or not he sure does seem to be able to get people to follow him (some NOT all but some just follow like lemmings) and even elect him a second time when no one thought it was possible. Like him or hate him he has a following.

You must have one single channel on television...FOX.
Have you looked around and noticed that more than half the world hates this man? Good grief.

Please do elaborate as far as Churchill is concerned. I'm interested because I consider him to have been a war criminal.

Washington,
He stood up for his beliefs, and put his life on the line..
He could have been King but refused..
He said 2 terms were enough..
He helped make what once was a perfect goverment ran by the people,
( the current 2 party system had destroyed that)
Those teeth

Also agree... check your history. Jesus walked the earh 100 percent man and 100 percent God.
Here they are...
Jesus, the Son of the Living God
Ronald Reagan
George Washington
Robert E. Lee
Martin Luther (not King although he was influential too)
and.... George W. Bush
Bring it.

Eh, Jesus didnt influence many at all! He certainly doesnt influence anymore! Not for 2000 years has he influenced! His place has been taken by the church, the priest, the bishop, the pope, the religious fanatic down the street! Basically what I mean is, if he were to come back tomorrow he would be sad to see how the world turned out and the path it's going down!

I vote for the Pakistan President General Pervez Musharraf, the one who plays with fire with abandon, the one who has strung along a hyperpower for billions in cash in return for hot air, the one who is adept in all manners of double talk and double dealing, and the only one possessed of tactical brilliance (but strategic idiocy) on the battlefield. The best leader *ever* - nobody comes close.

I would look away from politicians and look toward spiritual leaders, philosophers and poets, and to those in our personal lives who have helped us hone our intellectual and spiritual skills to interpret them in accordance with one's own circumstances.
Also I noticed that no or little mention is made of inventors. What about the guy or gal who first got a handle on how to use fire? What about the guy or gal who invented field crops?
What about the guy or gal who invented the aqueduct?
In modern times, what about the guy who invented the internal combustion engine or guys like Bill Gates, without whom we would not be here communicating on this forum?
