Did you stare at the ocean and cry?
On one windy day....you were taken away......
without notice, nor mention.......God why?
As we walked on the sand.....and the chill
slightly came. Did you know it would be our
last day?
If only I knew ......I'd of been more to you.....
There is so much I had left to say.
Did God says its time? Did you ask him why?
Or was it written in the sand?
Was there only one footprint as he carried you
away.......was he holding your loving hand?
You taught me that our life is short. It can end
at any time. .............To appreciate the little things.....
and not make life a grind.
If I could have one wish today.....I'd take a moment
like this................
To imprint this image of time and place.
To see your eyes, and careing face.
When clouds drift by....I will try not to cry...
as the ocean goes racing away......
For I lost you one night.....when the stars
shone so bright, with a "sliver of moon" ......
so "you say".......
Its moments like this.......that I truely miss....
A moment in a space and glory.
That I walk on the sand......trying to hold you
hand....and remember that .....its now just "our
story".

For the love of my Mom........ Summering
This I wrote on the spur of the moment on
Websleuths.... The story is so very true,
having spent that time on a beach in
South Carolina.....

Thank you Summering! That was beautiful.

My World
A new sound running with the wind
It’s blowing through the trees
Passing through and it’s gone again
Stopping to caress the leaves
It’s a playful, soft and soulful tune
Forcing a melody from your lips
Lifts your heart like sunlight in June
With the swaying of your hips
With the playing of life’s orchestra
The butterflies will dance
Like little notes hanging from a star
Giving love a chance
Clouds are drifting with the music
On a dance floor of blue sky
The dew drops soaring with a flick
In tune they learn to fly
The dragonflies line dancing
To the pounding of the beat
And bumble bees romancing
Flowers nectar, so sweet
Lying with you on the green grass
And as far as I can see
My world’s laid out before me
All that’s important to me
The sweetness of a simple kiss
The loving in your eyes
Like guitars playing in the mist
My spirit starts to rise
I know that I’ve got all I’ll need
And I believe it’s true
Your every little loving deed
Makes me believe in you
When I hear the sweet sound
Of nature’s melody
And see before me all around
The world you built for me
My eyes fill up with wonder
My ears hear the song
My heart beats like thunder
Knowing here’s where I belong
