Nothing makes the moon above
Or the flying of a dove
Or kissing a ladies pure white glove
So good as when the hearts in love

On a bridge one sparkling night
She sang a song under moon so bright
with her words her soul took flight
her music flowed to cloudy height

From her heart came feelings deep
With words remembered from her sleep
Alone she thought her words to keep
the only ears the critters creep

The night she wished would never end
As she praised her new found friend
For now she knew their two hearts blend
With love that could not ever end

But as she sang such lovely bliss
With feelings she knew were not amiss
and freely desired a lovers kiss
He stole a moment he could not miss

For in the trees he stood there silent
Breathlessly he watched her vibrant
To interrupt would seem but violent
Her tune his heart was made so pliant

She sang a song that he knew not
From a well dug deep such lovely thought
And now he knew his presence brought
All that her loving heart had sought

With flowing ease her words came forth
Like snow come gently from the north
With longing tears as from a swarth
Ever locked in memory henceforth

Thinking him so very far away
She thought this place all night to stay
To give forth all her heart did weigh
On dew filled grass where critters play

And then she saw his silohette
On yonder bridge where they first met
Her heart leaped upon the sight
And to him she then made flight

Into open arms she came
When she knew he was the same
To her he spoke, 'La belle dame'
Their kiss a celestial picture frame

Nothing makes the moon above
Or the flying of a dove
Or kissing a ladies pure white glove
So good as when the hearts in love
