only problem with places like wally world and sports authority is they just sell you stuff thay really do not service what they sell ,in our shop I fully service bows ,break them down clean them up ,restring, reserve, tune them up,set tiller ,cam timing and paper tune ........if it can be done to a bow we do it.......you don't get that at those big box stores......half the time around here the people they have working in those departments don't now what it is they are selling..........thier just register runners.

Our Sports Authority is just like that. Can't stand the place. Please move to Rock Springs or Green River and open up a sporting goods store.

When I was a kid - for funnsies we'd shoot arrows at just about anything that swam, walked, crawled or flew. We'd try for pheasants and occasionally connect. I hunted briefly in Africa with large bore weapons, but always went back to the bow. The stalk was more important to me than the kill.

Folks are correct that the box stores and mass merchandisers don't have much, if anything, in the way of service to back up their retail sales departments. But they do supply most of the retail marketplace for sporting goods in the region, where price/availability are key aspects of the needs of the clients.

With Cabela's presence in the area, as well as other major sources for much of the gear/outfitting that sports/outdoor folks need ... either in person or on the 'net .... Cabela's certainly has a lot of square footage devoted to bow hunters, and does a huge regional business with that or out of their catalogue sales. And they do offer experienced bow hunters for client support, as opposed to box store retail clerks at a cash register.

You've got a tough row to hoe ahead in Wyoming if what you've got is a specialty niche marketplace to service in a local environment with a retail storefront. The local population base is pretty small and limited to support your business.
