Default Weather, autos, locations, and internet

I am considering moving to Wyoming. While it's still just in the pipe-dream stage, I do have some questions.

First, the weather. I am a southern boy and have lived well south of the Mason-Dixon line my whole life. So what's the weather like in Wyoming? I visited Casper in June a few years ago and got a real shocker when it was barely 60 degrees. My main concern is the winter time. How cold does it get? Will I freeze to death? How do I prepare?

Secondly, my car. I have a small Hyundai Elantra sedan. It gets great milage and has given me no trouble in the extreme heat of Texas, but it's never been exposed to the extreme cold. How are cars effected? Also, will I be able to drive in the snow to get to work?

Thirdly (is that a word?), locations. I've been to Wyoming a couple of times and love it. I think it would be very difficult to pick one place to live. One place I really like is Douglas. What can you tell me about it? Are there any houses or apartments to be had there? How about jobs?

Lastly, the internet. I've grown quite attached to my broadband internet. What is braodband like in Wyoming? Is it something I can get in any town or will I have to settle for dialup?

Thank you for any responses you can give me!
