My family and I are considering a western move. We are considering CO and WY. I am particularly interested in info on the Cheyenne/Laramie area, as far as jobs, cost of living, wages, construction possibilities (hubby is a general conractor), family oriented activities (two girls...9 & 13) and schools, crime rates, etc.

Any input from locals and experts would be appreciated!!! We desperately want to return to the west (from FL...UGH! We hate it here!! TOO FLAT AND HOT AND HUMID!!!) and live near mountains (skiing!! hiking!!! camping!!!) but also be in an area that will support our construction business and have plenty of kids around for our own kids to play with, etc.

I look forward to any replies!!
