I had considered moving to Vermont, but was concerned with left wing action against guns. I do know that are still some Republican areas; but it's not like 1936.

I don't believe moving here or there at whim is the answer... You've got to take the 'whole package' each state has to offer. It isn't always how it appears on the surface...
