Dang..I knew I should have kept my mouth shut...LOL...

No problem..bang away..I know what I saw... and my kid back it's up. I didn't have any special spring water nor did I have my cell camera and the ready..

Thanks for making me laugh about it...I guess if it is real(and what I saw was real!) it's better left alone

For those of you who are ridiculing this sighting, who is to say there are not animals we don't know about? Bigfoots have been sighted in almost every state. Those of you from Wyoming know how few people there are and how vast the forests and mountains are. You never know what might be around. And there are plenty of pictures online, some of which do look pretty clear. I know many are Photoshopped but who is to say some might not be real?

Bigfoot likes to frolic in blurry and out of focus areas.

Does anyone else find it odd that we say Bigfoot like there's just one of them that everyone's seeing?

Do you say deer's or elk's or moose's? No, you say deer, elk, moose for a single animal or multiple animals. I would say the word bigfoot would be used the same way.

Plural would be bigfoots not bigfeet.

When reasonable people see unusual things we owe each other to keep an open mind, also within reason. I saw some TV show recently that offered a somewhat plausible explanation of some Bigfoot sightings (although it was also a debunking approach): apparently the NW Indian tribes used to have a secret tradition of individuals going all out and becoming one with nature, to the point of losing speech, dressing in animal skins, and fleeing all human contact. According to the show the tradition continues to this day.

Let's say there really is such a tradition; it would explain the upright stance/walk, but not the size of foot prints, or the height. I prefer when they're looking for a rational explanation that doesn't rely on some additional mystery (Occam's Razor). But if old American Indian traditions could explain at least some sightings, it would be interesting. I think you guys really saw something that wasn't a bear, and wasn't a hoax. Any chance it could be a rogue tall human, reverting to some ancient tradition--or perhaps having a mental problem?

We also know that there isn't a square foot of land in this state that someone doesn't cover, if you don't think so just dump a body in a remote area and see how quickly it's discovered .

FYI for the poster, bears put off a horrible scent, most people smell them even if they don't see them.

For what it's worth, an elder in the native American tribe near where I live says that big foot is real but is harmless- a benevolent spirit. My aunt also had a similar encounter (though she just saw the 4-4 1/2 foot span of tracks going through her yard).... so there might be something to your story. Was the sighting during the day time?
