Kids in Winter? Wow. They go to schools, they play on the playground, they harp on you to want to go to a movie. They ride their bikes, the skate on the sidewalk, they play with friends. On bad days, they go to school, they play on the playground, they harp on you to want to go to a movie, they sled, they play in the snow drifts, they make snow angles, they make tunnels in the snow.

Those are just outside. Inside, they do what they're doing where your at.

I agree to jgussler's post. In addition - yes it is cold and snows in Laramie - elevation is 7000 ft. However, it snows and is cold in lots of other places around the state and country also. We're from MT and lived in MN for 3 years. The winters here are much better than MN.

I think Laramie is a great place for kids. There are lots of kids programs at the university, public library, parks and rec, etc. Schools are excellent - according to our friends who have children in the school system there.
