Hello,

I'm looking for a new job. My background is in manufacturing, most recently in production control (scheduling and planning), but I'm willing to try any number of jobs. I am intelligent and a fast learner. Are there any jobs in Wyoming for someone with my skill set?

Joey

Default jobs in wyoming

There are jobs just about everywhere in WY. Especially in Gillette, Rock Springs, Pinedale areas.

MHT has it right. You name it you can get that job here almost. Wyoming needs workers very bad.
Casper where I am at if there isnt a hiring sign in front it is just because they got sick of looking at it and took it down. There are very few companies here that isnt looking for someone all over the state.

Default What happened?

Hi Wyo, were just drove around a bit out there when we went out to the Hills for Deadwood's Kool Summer Nights. We couldn't believe all the deer and elk in eastern Wyo. We also went to see Devil's Tower again and just drove around a bit and headed into Mont.

I remember that Gilette used to be a boom town there. Now we rarely hear anything about it. Also, I'm wondering why there is an over abundance of jobs over there now. Did you get a lot of new industry or did your population decrease?

Default There are jobs, but housing is harder

Unemployment is low at the moment, if you are physicly able and can pass drug tests you are sure to be scooped up for the oil and gas sector. It pays well. However where those jobs can be found housing is rather short. Rock Springs esepcially. Living in a town like Pinedale can be very expensive. I worked just outside of there for a few months and there is very little to do in the town. You pretty much have to be very out-doors or keep yourself busy at home with a book.

Wyoming generaly is not a manufactoring center, the closest things to that are trona related plants near Rock Springs, coal mines and coal bed methane especially near Gillette, oil and gas service companies centerd in Casper. There is limited agricultural business in the eastern side.

Gillette is still a growing job. But the gas and oil has come back to Wyoming and the people has about stayed the same.

Default jobs

There are lots of jobs in WY. All you have to do is have a clean driving record and be able to pass a drug test. Harder to find housing.
