Dubois Healthcare...hmmm (Cody: distances, drive, hospital)

So based on my preliminary research, it would seem as though the closest hospital is 77 mi away in Cody and according to another website's Yellow Pages, there is one medical doctor in Dubois.

If this is true, do all residents see the same doctor? What do you do in a health crisis if the closest hospital is so far? Does everyone just hold their breath and say a prayer they don't get sick or injure themselves....or is this normal for open spaces like that?

It's fairly common in Wyoming to have large distances to travel for medical help. We seem to get by though.

cody may be 77 miles by air but it is a 4 hour drive, driveing youd be better off going to riverton.
