Default HELP! Need rental in Sheridan or Buffalo!

I've tried EVERYTHING I know of! Right now our family is located in Illinois, but my husband would like to take the job he was offered at the new Home Depot in Sheridan. He's originally from Riverton, Wyoming and his kids live in Thermopolis. They're in their teens and he'd like to be closer to them.
I understand the housing situation is rough there, but if anyone knows of a 2-3 bedroom rental, PLEASE let me know!
My e-mail is: wolfcreekgal@yahoo.com
Thank you all and God bless,
Lisa

Default Thanx Navyvet

Wow, the search for housing in and around Sheridan is exhausting! It's like trying to find a home in the Garden of Eden for less than the price of paradise!
My husband and I are working class folks and I read in one of these posts that 200K is cheap for a house in Wyoming. Yeah, if you're the CEO of IBM. Cheap, in my book, is 100K or less. I lived in Colorado most of my life and there are houses there (in the mountains!) for under 100K if you're willing to commute.
I just don't understand why affordable housing is so hard to find in Sheridan. I've never been there, but the photos I pulled up via the internet suggest MUCH smaller mts. than Colorado offers.
Mind you, I'm not dissing Wyoming. I'm just weirded out that you can't find any rentals there. What gives?

Easy...supply and demand. Right now Wyoming is in a huge energy boom. Because of that, lot's of people are coming there (myself included) to work but the housing industry can't keep up with the demand for affordable housing. The prices for homes are then artificially inflated, and rentals become virtually non-existent.

A lot of appartment houses in Sheridan, don't advertise. They don't have to. If an appartment comes open, there's somebody checking with the office in a few days. So it's here, it's just not showing up in the paper.
