Default Rental House in Casper

Hi,

I am going to be moving to Casper at the end of the month with my family and we are looking for a rental house for a year or two until we know the town better and decide where to buy a house. I haven't found anything available on the web. Does anyone know of any good rental houses coming available towards the end of June or where I might look? We are looking for a 3-4 bdroom house for somewhere in the neighborhood of 1500-1600/month. I will be coming out to Casper next week to look at houses and was hoping someone would have some recommendations on where to look or how to locate rentals.

Thanks so much in advance for any help you can give,

Adam

I'd check with all the real estate offices in Casper. Wyoming doesn't use Craig's List much for housing, but you might find something by Googling. Casper's daily newspaper is the Star-Tribune.

Thanks guys. Doesn't seem like many houses are available for rent. If you know of anything, please let me know.

There is also a small paper that is called the quick quarter and is available at most convenience stores and some grocery stores for free. It will have some rentals and there are three or so sites in yahoo groups that have prospective land lords with ads. Just have check when you get here I guess. There are houses for rent but sometimes you have to jump on one if you like it.

Thanks...I am in town now for a few days and there just isn't a whole lot. Plenty of houses for sale which will be great in 2 years after I have worked and saved for a down payment, but it doesn't help when I am just getting out of school with no money in my pocket.

We like it. Not too big but not super small either. Centrally located in the state, nice people. What's not to like besides lots of wind?

Stay away from Alerin Management. That's the best advice I can give.

achorak,
I presume you've arrived.
I'm relocating at the end of Sept and will be looking for rentals too. Any suggestions?
