Church, read, visit firends, do letter writing, nap, do what chores need to be done, like feed livestock... but no haying or other work.

Since Sunday is the first day of the week on my calendar - it was a light work day.

* Get up about 4am, milk the cows,
* Slop the hogs around 6am,
* Collect a few eggs,
* Then have a light breakfast of ham (natch) eggs and wheat toast.
* Read the newspaper
* Take my sons fishing until about 3pm (take sandwiches along)
* Milk the cows 4pm
* Have dinner 6pm - usually a big roast, plenty of potatoes and carrots
* Then watch some rugby on satelite tv - fall asleep

I know this topic was months ago, but I just wanted to say thank you to everyone who added their input on here.

As a minister, it is good to know what people enjoy to do on Sunday. Sometimes you get so wrapped up in church work on Sunday that you forget there is anything else to do on Sunday.

But lately I have been trying to broaden my perspective.

Thank you all and enjoy your Sunday!

It's family time. Church, Nascar, Football, maybe fishing in the summer time or just staying home and holding down the couch or the chairs on the porch. But absolutely no work, this is one of God's 'rules' in the good book that I have no problem following!!

Hawknest, this is why I was not born on a ranch, ranchers get up too early lol. If I had milk cows they would be on a 7 and 7 schedule
